Service
All reels will be taken completely apart, cleaned, inspected, and reassembled with fresh lubrication.

This is a list of a few common problems and how to avoid them. The most important thing is to have your reel serviced once a year. Just like you need new fishing line every year. Think of it like an oil change for your car. Preventive maintenance is the first step to the fish of your dreams. I’ve seen more fish lost to mechanical problems than I care to think about.
1. Avoid using a lot of oil in your reel, oil breaks down the grease and also can trap and hold dirt.
2. A soft toothbrush can be use to remove loose dirt from your reel chassis.
3. Rinse your reel under fresh tap water if fishing in salt or brackish water.
4. For bait casters use as little cast control as possible, use your thumb to slow your spool down this saves wear and allows you to become a better caster.
5. Backing off your drag when not in use will prevent your washers from being flattened out, allowing your drag to work smoother longer.
6. Keep your spool full with fresh line. A spool that is half full has to be reeled twice as hard to pick up the same amount of line a full spool would.
